What does a therapy session look like?

  • My therapy sessions are based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy & Mindfulness practices. We work on identifying and analyzing your thought, emotion, and behavioral patterns so we can modify them into a direction that is more positive and healthy.

  • I want to know about you and your story. I want to hear you. In the first session, I ask you a series of questions to get the necessary information in order to understand where you are coming from and where you currently are. 
     

  • I use the combination of different tools like cognitive journaling, play-role, regression therapy, life timeline, breathwork, body movement, and guided visualizations depending on the person and the work we do together, so you can have a full experience. 
     

  • We go on a journey together. We analyze, observe, identify during and in between sessions. We keep in touch.

Training & Therapy Style

I have received academic training for over 10 years to develop the skills to support others. At the beginning I specialized in clinical psychology and as I also became a professional dancer, my interest in combining, both, body movement and the understanding of the mind and emotions, brought me to my further studies in sports psychology, emotional intelligence, positive psychology, mindfulness, somatic experiences, etc. Over the years I have learned through my own experiences and have created a blueprint for real change and transformation.

I do believe that we cannot control the experiences life puts us through nor the outcomes of our actions. However, we are in control of our thoughts, our emotions, and our behaviors. Therefore, we break your sequence to figure out what is serving us and what is not.

I focus on concrete steps to find clarity and work at the subconscious level, which is 90% of our minds.

 

I use different psychological tools. The combination of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness to consciously transform thoughts and behaviors into healthier ones.

 

I give you the tools and guidance to build self-awareness, understand your emotions, overcome self-doubts, heal from past traumatic experiences, and discover your natural talents to maximize your strengths.
