“I need to get done with this huge list of tasks today.”
I start to panic. Feel nervous and stressed. Too much to do, and so little time.
I feel overwhelmed. I’m so tired.
“I’m not good enough.”
I get blocked. I feel the pressure and my mind and body don’t respond.
I feel horrible and unworthy.
I don’t want to wake up and go to work. I don’t feel motivated anymore.
Does this sequence seem familiar? Tired of your routine? Or tired of not having a healthy routine?
If you are reading this blog, it’s possible that you are looking for an easy and quick way to boost your energy every day. Then… Maybe you should read “The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed To Transform Your Life… (Before 8AM)” by Hal Elrod. It is known as “one of the most life-changing books ever written.”
We all seek to improve our personal development and well being but usually excuse ourselves by not having enough time. We don’t find a moment to focus on our self. There is always something better or more important to do. Or we might have a bunch of things to do, but not knowing how to manage our tasks makes us feel stressed…
I KNOW THAT FEELING! I want to make the most out of my days. I have so many things to do, yet there are days I don’t know where to start, how to do, where to get inspired and energy from. I feel stuck and horrible! So many plans running around my mind, but get nothing done! It gets me mental and physically tired!
I’ve been through those days were we feel overwhelmed with our lifestyle…
Here is an example of a 6-minute routine for those who are busy and feel like they have no time to implement to their personal development. It is suggested in the book I’ve mentioned. It DOESN’T mean you have to do it exactly the same way. We are all unique individuals with different needs. This said, take your time to arrange and customise your miracle morning to make it fit your own needs.. However it is you want to do it, just do it and make it a daily routine!
MINUTE 1: SILENCE
Imagine to at least be in the state of peace and calm for a minute every day. Imagine waking up in the morning and already feeling the rush and stress. Eventually if you wake up like this, you won’t be able to relax during the day and will end up feeling exhausted and overwhelmed.
Instead, take a moment as soon as you wake up to sit in silence. Maybe you prefer meditating and/or say a prayer of gratitude. Just sit there breathing in and out, focusing on that precise moment. You are totally present in the now, focusing on yourself. This helps you calm your mind and relax your body. The stress is gone, and you will have a clear sense of peace.
MINUTE 2: AFFIRMATIONS
Reading your desires and goals every morning reminds you of your real purpose, of your priorities, and your potential. It helps you focus on what is important for you. It boosts your motivation and inspires you to focus on your wills. It gives you a sense of confidence and reminds you of the capability you have of working hard and achieving your goals.
Affirmations are important because they give you daily energy to look forward in life. They give you that push and strength you need to follow your dreams. It helps create your ideal life.

MINUTE 3: VISUALIZATION
It is a common thing to forget our purpose, our goals, our motivation… We lose confidence and believe our goals are unrealistic. If you just close your eyes and visualise your vision board (which includes your goals and desires) it gives you a picture of how your day will look like. Walk through every step you are going to take to achieve your goals. See how it would look like, how it would feel like…what struggles will appear and how you will confront them…
Visualization is like seeing yourself in the future. It is a powerful exercise, now that the subconscious mind supports what you are picturing and by manifesting your goals and desires, will try to match it in your real life.

MINUTE 4: SCRIBING
Get a Journal and take a minute to write what you’re grateful for. You will be surprised by how many things you can be proud of. Journaling gives you a confident state of mind. It is a huge exercise to focus on your personal growth, as you are taking your thoughts and feelings out of your system.
MINUTE 5: READING
How great would it be if you learnt something new every day? Take a minute to just read 1 or 2 pages of your book. You will start the day with a new idea, new thought, and new perspective.
MINUTE 6: EXERCISE
There is always time to get some adrenaline flowing in your body, helping you feel alive! Stand up and do some cardio workout for 60 seconds (ex. jumping jacks).
Physical activity increases your ability to be alert and to focus.
How you decide to start your day determines the quality of your life. We need to introduce our self to a morning ritual that will help us create a life that we imagine for our self.
NO MORE EXCUSES!
It’s time to work on our self!! We are so busy trying to find happiness and joy, but forget that it all comes within us. It comes from the inside. Lets take a step back and focus on our interior, on our mind, on our state of peace, on our energy… Let’s create a healthy routine that will keep our motivation levels high, feel relaxed, help us focus, and get a boost of energy to enjoy every second of the day.
I highly recommend everyone to read this book. If it makes it easier, pair up with a friend to be accountable and help each other committing into this new habit.
